A hub facility manufactures a complete line of products within a division.

A spoke facility manufactures a reduced inventory of products within a division. The product types offered at a given spoke location are determined by assessing regional demand and operational efficiencies.

Hub-and-spoke distribution reduces the need for substantial labor, machinery and inventory investments at each facility. But more importantly, it is a benefit to our customers. Shorter distances between manufacturing facilities and project sites result in decreased delivery times, lower transportation costs and reduced negative effects on the environment.
