We are firm believers that, in order to keep the integrity of an industry
intact, leaders must take the high road. NCI continually tests its
products to ensure that the customer is getting the most value and
best quality product. We believe so strongly in this that NCI has
assisted in the formation of several industry related associations
to set standards for product testing requirements. When specifications
call for Underwriters Laboratories (UL) numbers, or other ratings
such as Factory Mutual (FM), American Society for Testing and Materials
(ASTM) or International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO), we
will test the product extensively to ensure compliance. In fact, we
test so much and so often that we built our own authorized replica
of the UL test chamber and working model of the FM test chamber.
Another indicator of industry leadership is product innovations and
equipment modifications. NCI holds several patents for product accessories
and equipment designs that we have effectively introduced to the industry,
including Standing Seam Clips and accessories, a Long Bay® System
and Roll-forming processes.
In order to properly equip manufacturing, sales, and management personnel
for success, NCI offers an abundance of in-house training and other
skills training programs, ensuring the development of our employees
and the company. In addition, customers and builders are offered training
and certification in appropriate installation techniques of buildings
and roof and wall systems.
